Tasks

Install electrical controls and panel boxes Replace and repair electrical controls and panel boxes Install underground wiring and cables Keep maintenance reports and documentation Splice, join and connect wires Test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults integrity of circuits Determine appropriate selection of materials and methods for hazardous locations Troubleshoot and isolate faults Install surface mount and/or overhead cables Install power generation, stand-by power generation and power conditioning systems Renovate electrical systems in residential and commercial structures Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications Commission systems and components Record production information and complete reports Diagnose and locate circuit, component and equipment faults Determine layout and installation procedures Install electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures and other electrical components
