The work location is at

Nunavik

and the normal work schedule is on a rotation of 4 weeks: 2 weeks worked (84 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks for rest.

Future challenges

Reporting to the Operations Concentrator Supervisor, the Apprentice Operator is responsible for the various monitoring and supporting operations. Main responsibilities of the job include:Support operators in their daily tasks Maintain the facility in a clean and safe condition. Act as hot-worker and confined space supervisor. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental rules and guidelines in the workplace. Carry out any other tasks required in connection with the position.

Profile Sought

High school diploma (DES) or equivalent is an asset. Experience working on pressure vessels is an asset. Experience in industrial process operation (mining/concentrator, metals, pulp and paper, chemical/petrochemical) is an asset. Possession of a valid driver's license is essential (territorial accepted). Ability to communicate in at least two of the following languages: Inuktitut, English or French (trilingual will be considered an asset).
