We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter Apprentice to join our construction team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry and construction projects, providing a valuable foundation for a career in the trades. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in woodworking, construction, and building techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Responsibilities

Assist with reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to support project execution Participate in cabinet installation, flooring installation, siding, Operate hand tools, power tools, and other construction machinery safely and effectively Aid in construction painting, caulking, and finishing work to ensure quality standards are met Perform heavy lifting and material handling to support project timelines Support assembly and installation of various building components such as cabinetry, siding, or fixtures Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency

Requirements

Basic knowledge of construction or woodworking preferred; prior maintenance person experience is a plus Ability to read schematics and schematics is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in carpentry and construction projects Strong work ethic with attention to detail and safety procedures Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks for extended periods Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately Willingness to learn new skills such as CNC operation or advanced masonry techniques Prior experience or knowledge in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, or restoration is beneficial but not required Valid driver's license preferred for transportation to job sites

Looking for a young eager employee with minimum 3 to 5 years experience in residential construction.

Will be working alongside a senior carpenter with over 25 yrs experience in the custom home building field.

Tools are required

Vehicle is a must, truck in a bonus
