Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry and construction industry. The Carpenter Apprentice will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, assisting in various tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining structures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn essential skills while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for construction projects. Support experienced carpenters in concrete forming, masonry, and restoration tasks. Participate in cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding work. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various carpentry tasks. Engage in construction painting and caulking as needed for project completion. Help with rebar installation and heavy lifting during construction activities. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks, including plumbing and electrical work when required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and construction practices is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics is a plus. Experience with hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and manufacturing processes is advantageous. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by project demands. Strong willingness to learn from experienced professionals in the field. Previous maintenance person experience or exposure to roofing, restoration, or construction estimating is beneficial.
