Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter's Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in carpentry and construction. As a Carpenter's Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, gaining hands-on experience while learning the fundamentals of the trade. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.

Duties

Assist in the construction and installation of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Learn to read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Help fabricate components for various projects. Participate in concrete forming processes as required. Operate power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed to support project completion. Support experienced carpenters in all aspects of home building process and other related tasks. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly. Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure personal safety and the safety of others on the job site.

Skills

Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques, including framing, finishing, and site prep. Ability, willingness and enjoyment in working in all weather conditions. Familiarity with blueprint reading and understanding schematics is preferred. Experience with power tools and hand tools used in carpentry is advantageous. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude. Willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to carpentry. Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
