Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry and construction field. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will work under the guidance of experienced carpenters, assisting with various tasks related to building, repairing, and maintaining structures. This role offers an excellent opportunity to learn essential skills while contributing to exciting projects.

Responsibilities

Assist in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics for construction projects Support in concrete forming and masonry work Participate in restoration projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship Help with cabinet installation and flooring installation tasks Engage in construction painting and caulking duties Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Aid in roofing, siding, and tile laying activities Assist with rebar installation and construction estimating as needed Collaborate with team members on various construction tasks, including assembly and plumbing work Perform heavy lifting as required to complete job assignments

Requirements

Basic knowledge of carpentry, woodworking, and construction principles Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety protocols on job sites Experience or willingness to learn blueprint reading and schematics interpretation Previous maintenance person experience is a plus but not mandatory Strong work ethic with a commitment to quality workmanship Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods Interest in learning about CNC operations and manufacturing processes is advantageous A positive attitude towards teamwork and a desire to develop skills in the carpentry trade
