We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction and woodworking tasks, contributing to projects that range from residential renovations to commercial builds.
Duties
Assist experienced carpenters in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics.
Participate in concrete forming, masonry work, and rebar installation.
Support cabinet installation, flooring installation, and tile laying tasks.
Engage in construction painting, siding installation, and roofing projects.
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
Help with caulking, assembly, plumbing, and electrical tasks as needed.
Perform heavy lifting and physical labor as required on job sites.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Skills
Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
Familiarity with carpentry techniques, woodworking skills, and construction practices.
Experience with CNC machinery is a plus.
Knowledge of restoration techniques and maintenance person experience is beneficial.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality workmanship.
