Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction tasks, learning essential skills and techniques necessary for a successful career in carpentry.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Help with caulking, restoring surfaces, and ensuring the quality of finished products. Learn to read blueprints and technical drawings to understand project specifications. Support roof building activities, including framing and installation of cladding Aid in flooring installation Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Skills

Basic knowledge of carpentry tools and equipment is preferred but not required. Ability to read blueprints accurately to execute projects effectively. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
