Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry while learning from skilled professionals. As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will assist in various carpentry tasks and projects, contributing to the successful completion of residential and commercial builds.

Responsibilities

Assist experienced carpenters in constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Participate in the preparation and layout of projects, including measuring, cutting, and shaping materials. Help with construction painting, caulking, and flooring installation as needed. Support concrete forming tasks by setting up forms for pouring concrete structures. Engage in heavy lifting and moving of materials to ensure efficient workflow on job sites. Utilize hand tools effectively to fabricate, build, and assemble various components as directed by supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency on-site.

Skills

Basic knowledge of carpentry techniques and tools is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with construction painting, woodworking, caulking, and flooring installation is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction work. Proficiency in using hand tools for building and assembly tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Class-5 driving license and personal vehicle are a plus.
