Job Overview:

The majority of our work is interior home renovations in HRM. We have been in the home renovation business since 1991. Applicant must have basic carpentry tools, vehicle and a valid driver's license.

Previous professional home renovation experience is a must. Wage is based on previous experience, education and ability ( $20 - $30/hour). If you are a team player, self motivated, take pride in your work and are focused on safety and quality, please forward us a copy of your resume.We are seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Carpenter Apprentice. As an apprentice, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills in carpentry and construction. This is a hands-on position that will provide valuable experience in various aspects of the trade.

Responsibilities:
- Assist carpenters with various tasks such as measuring, cutting, and shaping materials
- Learn and apply proper techniques for masonry, cabinet installation, flooring installation, and other carpentry-related tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment
- Utilize power tools and hand tools under the guidance of experienced carpenters
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to all construction regulations

Experience:
- Basic knowledge of power tools and hand tools is a plus
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn from experienced professionals
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting and prolonged standing
