Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Carpenter Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the carpentry field while working alongside skilled professionals. The Carpenter Apprentice will assist in various construction and woodworking tasks, learning essential skills that will contribute to their development in the industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Help with cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and siding projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively under supervision. Engage in construction painting and caulking to finish projects professionally. Perform heavy lifting as required during various tasks on job sites. Collaborate with team members on restoration projects to ensure quality workmanship. Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of carpentry principles and techniques is preferred but not required. Experience with woodworking, assembly, or maintenance person tasks is beneficial. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods. Basic plumbing or electrical experience is advantageous but not mandatory. A positive attitude and eagerness to learn from experienced carpenters. Pay: $18.27-$36.44 per hour
