About us Maverick Alternative Energy Inc has been providing Calgary and area with innovative solar energy solutions for homes and business since 2016. We are looking for Apprentice and Journeyman Electricians to work on solar projects throughout Calgary and area. If you enjoy working in a positive team environment where you as an employee and your contributions are valued; then we would like to hear from you. Requirements: -Be a registered apprentice or posses an Alberta Journeyman certificate or Red Seal (would consider hiring a starter) -Previous solar experience would be considered an asset -Any safety certifications such as first aid, fall arrest, WHMIS, etc would be considered an asset -Have a valid drivers license -Must be comfortable working at heights -Must have: a good adittude, a safety mindset, a willingness to learn, a good eye for detail, and take pride in your work. -Strong communication skills are a must Responsiblities: -Installation of solar equipment and systems -Toubleshooting solar equipment and systems -Reading and interpreting prints and drawings -A comitment to providing a safe and healthy work environment for yourself and others Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship Salary: $18.50-$37.00 per hour Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Overtime pay
- Drivers Licence (required)
