Job Description


As the Applications Developer Technical Lead Analyst you are responsible for directing, guiding, and coordinating the day-to-day operation of Citi\xe2\x80\x99s strategic systems. You will interact with senior business clients and other stakeholders to determine project priority, timeline, and budgets. You will engage Citi Technology partners to secure resources needed and work collaborative to deliver state of the art solutions.

You will manage teams of different disciplines and be accountable for all their deliverables, including E2E development of innovative solutions, software quality control assurance, implementation, and deployment. You will oversee execution of all SDLC phases of strategic projects to support the legal entity program\xe2\x80\x99s directives and you are responsible to senior technology management on the success of the system.

You will participate in discussions to analyze requirements, propose, and implement solutions. You will develop interpersonal and leadership skills by managing teams of software developers, quality control engineers, and by interacting with business clients from different functional areas of Citi at all levels.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of technology management and leadership experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on systems architecture experience in a complex, multi-vendor systems environment.
  • Solid understanding of systems, business, data, and technical architecture disciplines, including exposure to such key methodologies and approaches as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Business Process Management (BPM), data/information modeling, and high-availability/high-performance systems design.
  • Ability to establish an appropriate business-aligned strategic architecture vision for a major functional area, avoiding undue focus on incremental legacy system improvements and introducing and driving transformational changes where appropriate.
  • Strong familiarity with both traditional and agile software development lifecycles.
  • 5- 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in TIBCO EBX, Talend or any such master data management (MDM) tool
  • 5- 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in creation, implementation, and maintenance of master data management solutions and best practices aligned with the business.
  • Must have experience in leading data governance, data integrity, and data management efforts across the organization; establishes consistent metrics to measure quality of data and implemented solutions
  • Has knowledge on Automation frameworks using Selenium or QTP and developed or lead team of automation test engineers to collaborate, develop and deliver.
  • Experience with UNIX scripting, job scheduling tools like Autosys, VBA Macros.
  • Has contributed to critical business decisions including data models, data acquisitions, data retention policies and defining data life cycle policies, risk identifications, continuous improvements in data management through technological innovation, operational improvement, and championing adoption
  • Deep understanding of master data management, data governance, and associated technologies
  • Proven experience in establishing and operationalizing data management capabilities
  • Excellent trouble shooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience in working in an Agile development model.
Nice to have:
  • Proficiency with IBM BPM, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL tuning, writing packages triggers, functions, and procedures
  • Has working experience in Onsite - Offshore model
  • Experience with Banking applications and process would be advantageous
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Education
  • BE or MCA Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
