What You\'ll Be Doing

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be joining CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s CIBC Asset Management (CAM) Technology Group within Wealth Management Technology. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be at the heart of CIBC\xe2\x80\x99s digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale projects involving multiple back-end systems. As an Application Technology Consultant, you will build, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience across multiple technologies including cloud. You\xe2\x80\x99ll be part of the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. The successful candidate for this role will be required to support after hours/weekends for project implementations.

How You\'ll Succeed

Design and Development - Perform and coordinate application design & programming activities, build packages , create instructions for deployments and coordinate with other technology teams for implementations. Design the application\'s technical infrastructure using specific databases, programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches.

Strategic Planning - Lead multiple complex projects involving backend systems, new technology, and the enhancement of existing applications.

Leadership Skills - Act as the lead of technical implementation activities. Support and mentor team members by sharing knowledge, collaborating and problem solving.

Who You Are

You have a degree/diploma in: Computer Science, Information Technology and/or a related field.

You can demonstrate experience in: 2-4 years of hands on experience in IT & software development area with variety of tools & technologies including analytics tools such as Power BI, Advanced level experience in Windows/Linux OS, Firewall, Networking rules, Security Certificate, Unix/PowerShell, Application installation, configurations & server set up, DevOps Integration, Azure Cloud, ETL, Database, Autosys, and Feedhub.
