In the Industrial X-Ray Systems division, we develop and produce radioscopic and CT inspection systems for a wide range of industrial applications in the electronics, aerospace or automotive industries.

Comet Technologies Canada d\xc3\xa9veloppe des outils de visualisation et d\'analyse d\'images 3D qui utilisent des techniques d\'apprentissage profond. Dragonfly, son principal logiciel, comporte un engin de segmentation bas\xc3\xa9 sur des r\xc3\xa9seaux de neurones et de l\'apprentissage machine. Ce logiciel de pointe permet aux chercheurs de tous les domaines de segmenter leurs images, tant dans le monde universitaire que dans le secteur industriel.

Dragonfly fournit \xc3\xa9galement de puissants outils de quantification pour compter, mesurer et caract\xc3\xa9riser une multitude de composantes d\'images, par exemple les pores, les fibres ou les grains. Les r\xc3\xa9sultats quantitatifs pr\xc3\xa9cis obtenus peuvent ensuite \xc3\xaatre organis\xc3\xa9s visuellement sous forme de pr\xc3\xa9sentations, gr\xc3\xa2ce \xc3\xa0 l\'interface utilisateur conviviale du logiciel. Nous recherchons actuellement un D\xc3\xa9veloppeur.se logiciel d\'application pour se joindre \xc3\xa0 notre entreprise. Le.la candidat.e retenu.e aura \xc3\xa0 programmer de nouveaux modules de traitement d\'images rayon X. Le.la candidat.e aura \xc3\xa9galement \xc3\xa0 recueillir les besoins des clients.es en interagissant avec elleux lors de s\xc3\xa9ances de formation et de support client\xc3\xa8le.

Comp\xc3\xa9tences et qualifications :

  • Dipl\xc3\xb4me universitaire en informatique, ing\xc3\xa9nierie logicielle ou toute formation universitaire consid\xc3\xa9r\xc3\xa9e pertinente
  • 5 ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience en C++, Python
  • Exp\xc3\xa9rience en QT ou pyQT un atout
  • Minimum de 3 ans d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience li\xc3\xa9e \xc3\xa0 l\'analyse d\'images et l\'analyse de donn\xc3\xa9es
  • Connaissance des pratiques de d\xc3\xa9veloppement de logiciels Scrum
  • Passion pour comprendre des probl\xc3\xa8mes complexes et trouver des solutions techniques novatrices
  • Familiarit\xc3\xa9 avec Windows et Linux

Comet Technologies Canada develops deep learning powered 3D visualization and image analysis software. Our flagship product, Dragonfly, provides innovators from leading universities and industries an advanced machine learning and neural networks based segmentation engine. Dragonfly\'s quantification tools then provide powerful options for counting, measuring, and characterizing image features, such as pores, fibers, grains, and much more. Its user-friendly experience translates its powerful and accurate quantitative findings with high-impact visuals. The ability to build fully automated workflows also enables reproducible results.

We are currently looking for an Application Software Developer to join our company. The successful candidate will be programming new X-ray image analysis workflow. The candidate will also gather client requirements by interacting with them during training sessions and customer support.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other relevant field
  • 5 years of experience in C++, Python
  • Knowledge of QT and pyQT a plus
  • At least 3 years of experience in image analysis and data analysis
  • Knowledge of Scrum software development practices
  • Passion for understanding complex problems and finding innovative technical solutions
  • Familiarity with Windows and Linux
