Details:

• Senior Level - Provide direction and influence ways to improve the design and operation of systems to make them more scalable, reliable, and efficient by taking a design-driven automation-first approach to solving problems.
• Advance the automation capabilities associated with software delivery and provide expertise at executing deployments and releases for their portfolio of products.
• Embrace engineering principles in line with ITS strategy: endlessly curious, using data and analytics to guide decisioning, experimenting, automating first, having a bias for action and being ready to collaborate.
• Communicate best practices for end to end software delivery.
• Drive the automation of all parts of the application deployment pipeline including, but not limited to, areas such as source code management, building and packaging, infrastructure as code, and other tools as needed to improve application time-to-market.
• Provide integrated guidance and leadership on the best practices for releasing software, including solving technical problems and executing tasks for deployment events across all regions and environments.
• Build and maintain testing ecosystems to ensure high environment availability for development and testing delivery teams.
• Maintain DevOps tooling and processes owned within a segment team

Must-Have Hard Skills:

• Microsoft Azure and VMware Cloud experience
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code provisioning (Terraform) and orchestration (GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Strong customer mindset, a laser focus on anticipating the customer's needs
• Exceptional critical thinking capabilities

Soft Skills:

• Attention to detail

Nice-To-Have

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform
• Proficiency with SaltStack
• Experience with containers technologies, including Kubernetes
