We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role bridges engineering and sales by providing both pre- and post-sales technical support. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a foundational understanding of mechanical systems, and enjoys collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer service and technical solutions.
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include:
Pre-Sales Support:
Review and analyze customer requests to develop tailored engineering solutions and product recommendations
Prepare and deliver product demonstrations and presentations virtually and in person
Support internal and external sales teams with technical expertise and design strategies
Collaboration & Training:
Engage with internal sales, reps, consultants, and designers to provide guidance on system design and application
Develop and deliver training sessions for customers and team members
Assist in crafting strategies that support both sales and engineering objectives
Post-Sales Support:
Provide support during system installation and commissioning
Deliver technical training and documentation to clients
Troubleshoot and resolve issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
College diploma or university degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer Engineering (or related field)
Basic understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems (or strong willingness and aptitude to learn)
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Self-starter with a process-driven mindset and a customer-first attitude
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team
Preferred qualifications
Previous experience in a technical support or presales role
Experience delivering presentations and technical training
Familiarity with design tools, CRM platforms, or technical sales software
