Application Development Manager * Collaborate with different stakeholders (e.g. product owner, delivery manager, architect, QE, SRE) to deliver high quality software products that delight our customers

• Analyze, design, estimate and develop new features and enhance existing applications, identify and address technical debt and refactor requirements.
• Conduct code reviews, adopt measures to improve overall code quality and coverage and help reduce defect escape ratio of applications.
• Support production applications, actively participate in change management and incidence management.
• Contribute to the vision, product roadmap and planning, sprint planning backlog grooming and other planning activities as needed.

Must-have * Expert level experience in designing, developing and maintaining complex applications using Java technologies and frameworks: core java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, JPA, JMS, JCA, JAAS and PKI etc.

• Expert level experience in developing and testing RESTful web services and event driven applications.
• Experience working in payments domain, integrating with rails like FED, SWIFT, ACH etc.
• Experience with handling payment message types, transformations, file processing etc.
• Experience in Linux as a target deployment platform for applications
• Experience in mentoring junior developers and provide guidance in estimation, technical spikes and improving code quality.
• Experience with SDLC tools and processes: Git, Jira, Confluene, Jenkins, Nexus, Sonarqube, veracode etc.
• Experience with Cloud-native development in AWS/Azure: Docker, Kubernetes, Secrets management, Load balancing and basic networking.
• Moderate Experience in designing, developing, integrating and deploying APIs in production.
• Moderate experience in SQL and NO SQL databases, Redis and messaging technologies
• Moderate experience in instrumenting applications with enterprise tools: Splunk, Dynatrace or similar.
