Paradigm Consulting Group is in an active growth phase and securing talented consultants is a critical component of our success. We are looking for Application Architect to join our team. The role will be Remote for our customer who are in Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Kindly note candidates must reside in Canada to qualify.

Each requirement we receive varies, but the skillset may include:

• MS/BS Degree in Computer Science/related field, or commensurate body of previous work.

• 5+ years of public cloud application architecture experience.
• 8 - 10 years\' experience developing enterprise application architectures.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely.
• Experience presenting complex architectures to delivery team members using multiple points of view.
• Experience working as an application architect in a large and complex enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with microservices design using Domain Driven Design strategy and patterns.
• Experience with Domain Driven Design, Microservices and API design patterns.
• Experience developing data flow and logical data models.
• In-depth experience designing distributed applications in public cloud providers.
• Experience with AGILE SCRUM planning and product delivery.

Duties may include:

• Architecture delivery team member, working closely with the lead solution architect, solution architects, lead developers, and delivery team members.
• Provide high quality expertise in architecting principles, approaches, and best practices to effectively design application architectures.
• Lead design workshops and develop application architecture aligned with business capability domains.
• Recommend technologies that align with solution goals and outcomes.
• Work closely with delivery teams to develop detailed designs through multiple sprints and scrums.

• Develop application architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements.
• Define architecture to be used in web-based projects.
• Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows.
• Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations within application sub-systems, to external systems and between new and existing systems.
• Define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design phase, and obtain approval of the system proposal.
• Perform architectural modeling to ensure consistency of the design with existing work.
• Define assumptions and constraints of architecture with regard to physical structure and data collection.
• Develop post-implementation plan for monitoring/tracking architecture stability.
