Position Summary
Reporting to the Director, Strategic Enrolment, the Applicant Liaison Officer works closely with the recruitment and admissions teams, as well as the Institutional Research team, to convert applications to confirmations.

The incumbent is responsible for the development, implementation, tracking and reporting of diverse campaigns and initiatives. The Applicant Liaison Officer requires thorough and detailed knowledge of Loyalist College, all post-secondary programs and other specialized programs and services offered by the college in order to effectively convert and retain students from application to Day 10.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Working with Marketing & Communications to organize social media around various conversion campaigns, and to ensure campaign consistency and roll out across multiple intakes, as well as platforms
  • Working with Recruitment to get information about campaigns to prospective students
  • Working with Academics to launch and execute calling/outreach campaigns
  • Working with student ambassadors, class leaders, previous winners to highlight Loyalist College
  • Working with the Director, Strategic Enrolment to plan future campaigns
  • Working with the Director, Strategic Enrolment to plan incentives and giveaways for Conversion, as well as Retention events
  • Working with the Manager, International Recruitment to plan international conversion points and campaigns
  • Tracking and inventory of prizes and giveaway items
  • Sourcing incentives for future giveaways and conversion campaigns
  • Acting as a point person for events related to Conversion, this may include attendance at recruitment events, open houses, other community events, etc.
  • Working closely with the Institutional Research Team to review/understand conversion data and possible opportunities

Qualifications
  • Completion of a two (2) year Diploma in a related field from a recognized post-secondary program
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in customer service, calling campaigns or sales
  • Abilty to exercise tact, confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Advanced computer proficiency using MS Word and Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision
  • Evidence of strong organizational skill with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
