Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires a blend of mechanical and electrical knowledge, as well as excellent customer service skills. As an Appliance Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems, performing repairs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through high-quality service.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a variety of household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems. Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot appliance malfunctions. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their appliance issues and repair processes. Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used during repairs. Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on electrical and mechanical systems. Stay updated on the latest appliance technologies and repair techniques.

Experience

Proven experience in appliance repair or a related field with minimum 2 years of experience. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand electrical systems. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Previous experience in customer service is highly desirable. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
