Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dependable Appliance Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of household appliances. The ideal candidate has strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and enjoys working directly with customers. This role involves independent service calls while remaining connected to a supportive, professional team.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and dishwashers Perform electrical and mechanical repairs accurately and efficiently Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams Disassemble and reassemble appliances for repairs or part replacement Communicate clearly with customers regarding diagnoses, repair options, and timelines Maintain accurate service records, including parts used and hours worked Stay up to date with new appliance technologies, repair techniques, and safety standards Follow company policies and safety procedures at all times

Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as an appliance repair technician or in a similar role Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems in household appliances Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Professional communication and customer service abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license and reliable transportation High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are an asset)
