Dial An Applianceman is seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in appliance repair and maintenance, demonstrating both electrical and mechanical expertise. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while effectively diagnosing and resolving appliance issues. As an Appliance Technician, you will work both independently and collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction through efficient repairs and installations.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a variety of home appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens and dishwashers. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on appliances to ensure optimal performance. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Assemble and install appliances according to manufacturer specifications. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs, timelines, and maintenance tips. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies related to appliance repair.

Skills

Strong electrical experience with the ability to troubleshoot wiring issues. Mechanical knowledge that allows for effective disassembly and reassembly of appliances. Proven experience in appliance repair with a focus on quality workmanship. Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and address their concerns. Familiarity with reading schematics for electrical systems is essential. Ability to perform assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
