Job Summary

Pete's Appliance, Tred's Appliances sister company, is seeking to sponsor a motivated Appliance Technician Apprentice to join our service team in Lethbridge. This entry-level position offers hands-on training in appliance repair and maintenance, providing a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills in a dynamic field service environment. The apprentice will work alongside experienced technicians to gain practical knowledge of appliance systems, electrical components, and mechanical troubleshooting, with the goal of becoming a fully qualified service technician. A valid driver's license is required, and customer service skills are preferred to ensure efficient and professional client interactions.

Responsibilities

Repair appliances at customers' homes and at our store Assist with diagnosing and repairing various household appliances, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and ovens. Learn to interpret schematics and technical manuals for appliance repair procedures. Support the removal, installation, and assembly of appliances in customers' homes or commercial settings. Help troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues using appropriate tools and techniques. Participate in field service activities such as equipment repair, maintenance, and testing. Assist with diverse tasks related to the shop where we do in-store repairs. Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used for each service call. Uphold excellent customer service standards by communicating effectively with clients and ensuring their satisfaction.

Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Job Type: Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$22.50 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
