Job Overview

We are a small, family run business that moved into our first retail space on May 1st 2025. We are seeking a driven, honest and friendly individual to join our team! The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales operations and ensuring excellent customer service.

Duties

Assisting with appliance deliveries (loading and unloading appliances safely, securing loads, using appliance hand trucks to move appliances in and out of homes safely). Driving the delivery box truck Help customers load purchased appliances at the shop, or unload appliance drop offs. Moving/organizing appliances ready for resale in the shop. General shop & yard maintenance tasks (snow/ice removal, weed whacking, sweeping, etc.) Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and collaboration.

Requirements

Class 5 non-GDL drivers license Clean criminal record check Experience driving box trucks/large delivery vehicles would be an asset The ability to assist lifting very heavy appliances Basic plumbing/electrical skills would be an asset (appliance installation) Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively and respectfully with customers. Good organizational skills and attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 30 per week
