Applewood Rentals - Internal Rental Agent (Rental Clerk)

The Internal Rental Agent serves as the primary point of contact for customers at the rental counter. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service by assisting clients with the rental process, ensuring a smooth and efficient transaction, and addressing any questions or concerns. Applewood Kia Surrey dealership. You must be able to travel between stores within the Lower Mainland.

Role & Responsibilities:

Fleet Maintenance and Preparedness:

Maintain the cleanliness and detailing of the fleet to meet Applewood standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure vehicles are available and prepared for customer rentals.

Customer Engagement Service:

Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival at the rental counter. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Escalate issues to management when necessary.

Rental Agreement Management:

Review rental agreements with customers, ensuring they understand all terms and conditions. Provide accurate information about vehicle availability, rental policies, and pricing.

Transaction Processing:

Accurately process rental transactions, including payments and deposits, ensuring smooth financial operations. Ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly, including insurance options and driver's license verifications.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with fellow associates to provide a seamless rental experience, ensuring efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate Must Have:

Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract (No Class 7's will be accepted) Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Keen attention to detail and ability to handle transactions accurately. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred. Must be able to travel at a moment's notice to our stores in Surrey, Langley and potentially Richmond.

Compensation:

The compensation for the Internal Rental Agent position at the Applewood Auto Group is between

$17.85 per hour
