Seasonal employment available at
Vogel Honey Farm
from April or May to October 2026. Minimum of 1 - 2 years beekeeping experience required. No minimum education required, but some secondary education is an asset. Additional on-the-job-training will be provided. Pay: $15.40 per hour.Land Location:

- building and repairing beekeeping equipment (using various tools)
- maintaining bee yards (cutting grass, collecting garbage)
- assessing colony vitality, assisting with bee care
- identifying queens and drones
- adding/removing honey supers to/from hives
- extracting honey in our extraction facility
- feeding bees in spring and fall
- wrapping hives for outdoor wintering
- cleaning and storing all beekeeping equipment
- loading/unloading, operating, and maintaining farm trucks and tractors
The candidate must be mentally and physically fit, able to lift heavy loads, able to work well with others, attentive to detail, able to work efficiently under constant time-pressure, tolerant of bee venom, willing to work long hours regardless of weather conditions, committed and dependable.
