Job Description

Recon Inspection Ltd. is looking for certified API, CGSB, CWB and Inspection Trainees to perform shutdown type inspections around Saskatchewan.Responsibilities: - Perform inspections, assessing inspection results, reporting all findings, and recommending any required repairs- Assist other inspectors with daily tasks as required- Observe and follow safety rules and practices, and other safety requirements for all projects- Follow relevant codes and proceduresSkills and Qualifications: - API, CGSB, CWB certification (4+ years experience preferred)- IRATA 1+ certification is highly preferred- Technical understanding of API, CGSB, CWB standards, relevant codes and supporting documentation- Excellent- Standard safety certifications such as confined space and fall arrest- GMSA (General Mine Safety Awareness), WHMIS and drug/alcohol testing will be required before accessing the site. A fully vaccinated status against COVID-19 is also required by the client.- Valid class 5 drivers license required.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc)- Exceptional attention to detail- Ability to effectively communicate with the client and co-workers- Able to work independently as well as in a team environment- Technical writing and reporting skills- Experience in utilizing an asset management systemResidents of Saskatchewan will be preferred but open to non-local residents.
