Job Description

Responsibilities:

-Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records

-Maintain a vendor list

-Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements

-Allocate payments

-Multiple bank account reconciliation

-Credit Card reconciliation

-Manage Petty Cash

-Collecting of overdue accounts receivable.

-Assist on the month end process

-Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database

-Provide assistance and support to company personnel and to Finance department

-Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies

-Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas.

Qualifications:

-Post-secondary education in Accounting/Finance, or relevant experience

-3+ years\' experience in accounts payable & accounts receivable

-Experience in Yardi and Newstar is an asset

-Proficient in the use of MS Excel

-Effective oral and written communication

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Excellent organizational skills
