Payroll Administrator - Completes payroll by processing, verifying, and reconciling time sheets and salaries according to Three Way Builders' established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely and accurate manner.

Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for all AP and payroll duties for the main companies and all related companies:

GENERAL ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
Keep all information confidential.
Maintain a positive relationship and support all employees, subtrades and suppliers
Update bank balances in spreadsheet on a daily basis.
Shared administrative support for office including phone coverage.
PAYROLL PROCESSING:
Onboarding and offboarding of employees including all relevant enrolments
Ensuring the correct hours, wages, withholdings, deductions, reimbursements and allocation
Resolving issues employees have with time sheets, pay stubs and other payroll matters
Maintain employee data, updating as needed
Ensure payroll tax updates are current and up to date
Payroll Remittances including CPP, EI, HET, Income Tax, RRSP, and DPSP
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post-secondary diploma in Finance, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting or a related field is preferred.
Payroll Certification or Payroll specific education considered an asset.
1-3 years of combined experience in a payroll and AP processing role.
SKILLS:
Knowledge of general accounting principles, provincial and federal payroll tax regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
In-depth understanding of human resources and labour rules and regulations
Good math skills.
Proficiency in MS Office, including the ability to operate computerized accounting and spreadsheet programs.
Familiarity with Sage300 Construction and Real Estate considered an asset.
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality.
Working knowledge of payroll software
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
Effective organizational, stress and time management skills.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: $44,579.74-$71,043.58 per year
