Our client, a global leader in the agriculture industry, is seeking an AP Customer Service Representative to support Accounts Payable operations in Calgary. This long-term contract role focuses on resolving escalated AP issues through analysis and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve escalated AP issues through detailed analysis and research
- Use AP systems such as SAP and PeopleSoft to identify and correct payment discrepancies
- Review aged payables, coordinate refunds, and resolve open payment items
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to meet service level agreements
- Communicate invoice, payment, and check status updates to stakeholders
- Support process improvements and additional operational needs
Requirements:
- Experience in customer service within Accounts Payable or financial operations
- Proficiency with SAP and PeopleSoft; strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to research issues and recommend process improvements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal teams and vendors
- Detail-oriented, able to manage priorities and meet SLAs/KPIs
- Interest in supporting sustainability within the agriculture industry
