Overview


We are seeking a skilled and innovative Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Commercialize Academic Research into a Field Ready System Operate Unit in the Field (Travel may be required our of country) Design, develop and test the signal processing unit and control unit of ground penetration radar
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical and mechanical engineering, with expertise in system design and project management. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop cutting-edge solutions, ensuring that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. The Engineer will play a critical role in the design, testing, and implementation of various engineering projects.

Responsibilities



Design and develop electrical systems, including schematics and PCB layouts. Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for drafting and modeling. Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues. Implement project scheduling techniques to ensure timely completion of projects. Collaborate with teams on FPGA development and programmable logic controllers. Perform signal processing tasks and work with SoC (System on Chip) designs. Develop firmware using C++, Python, MATLAB, or Perl for various applications. Engage in mechanical knowledge applications including soldering and surface mount technology. Participate in the testing and debugging of systems using tools such as an ohmmeter. Utilize simulation tools like Simulink for system modeling and analysis. Contribute to quantum engineering projects as required.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks) is essential. Experience with FPGA design, SystemVerilog, and ARM architecture is preferred. Strong understanding of electrical systems design principles and NEC standards. Familiarity with manufacturing processes related to electrical components. Knowledge of vision inspection systems is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing individual responsibilities effectively. Strong communication skills to convey technical information clearly. Pay: $17.20-$44.74 per hour
