Youll be actively involved in curating and contributing to our social media platforms, ensuring our brand stays top of mind with our audience. At DAVE Rocks, were more than a station, were a community. • Host and deliver a tight, focused Afternoon Show that resonates with our audience.
• Voice commercials, promos, and additional content as required.
• Create and curate original audio and video content that connects with listeners and drives digital engagement.
• Actively participate in station events, promotions, and community outreach.
• Voice track other shows as needed.
• Manage daily music scheduling, compliance reports, and music library maintenance.
• Work both independently and collaboratively to elevate the show and brand.
• Support Sales and Promotions initiatives.

Skills and experience you will bring:

• A deep understanding of Rock culture and how to translate it into engaging content.
• Post-secondary diploma/degree in Journalism, Broadcasting, or Radio/TV Arts (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of on-air experience preferred.
• Strong on-air, written, and social media engagement skills.
• Ability to run a tight, well-produced show using industry-standard tools.
• Proven ability to create compelling social media and digital content.
• Basic audio/video recording and editing skills.
• A passion for music and a willingness to embrace and elevate the format.
• Valid G-Class drivers license with a clean driving record.
