Job Description

Animal Health Technician Positions available for full time employment. All aspects of AHT training will be utilized, including client/patient, Doctor support, and in-clinic patient care. Work as a team member with veterinarians, technicians and other support staff.

Summary



As a Registered Animal Health Technologist, you will be a vital member of our veterinary team, utilizing your core skills in animal care, medical procedures, and patient monitoring to provide high-quality care to our animal patients. Your premium laboratory experience will be instrumental in conducting diagnostic tests, analyzing samples, and assisting in research projects. Your role will involve collaborating with veterinarians, managing medical records, and ensuring the well-being of our animal patients. Responsibilities



Perform clinical procedures under the supervision of a veterinarian. Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care for animals. Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment plans. Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment of their animals.

Qualifications



Certification as a Registered Animal Health Technologist Strong understanding of animal health and veterinary practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Experience in clinic or hospital settings preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
