Developing and delivering lesson plans: The instructor will be responsible for creating lesson plans that cover various topics related to animal care, such as animal behavior, nutrition, health, and grooming. Teaching students: The instructor will teach students the theoretical and practical aspects of animal care. This may include classroom lectures, hands-on training, and field trips to animal shelters or farms. Evaluating student performance: The instructor will assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance. This includes grading assignments, exams, and practical assessments. Advising students: The instructor will provide guidance to students regarding their career paths and offer advice on further education or job opportunities in the animal care industry. Maintaining equipment and supplies: The instructor will be responsible for maintaining all equipment and supplies necessary for teaching animal care courses. This includes ensuring that the facility is clean and organized, and that all equipment is in good working order. Staying up-to-date with industry trends: The instructor will keep up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the animal care industry, including new technologies, treatments, and best practices. Working with other instructors and staff: The instructor will work with other instructors and staff to develop curriculum and ensure that all courses meet the educational standards and guidelines. Promoting animal welfare: The instructor will be responsible for promoting animal welfare and ensuring that all students understand the importance of animal care ethics and laws.
