Expected Hours: 20-40 per week

Position Overview

We are hiring an Animal Care Expert for our Terra Nova location. You must have pet store experience. You support customers, keep the store clean, assist with grooming tasks, and help with inventory work.

Important Requirements

Experience in a pet store is required Grooming experience is preferred Ability to trim nails for dogs and cats Ability to bathe dogs using the wash station
Key Duties

Greet customers and guide them on pet products Provide advice on food, treats, supplies, and grooming Trim nails, bathe dogs, and work at the wash station Maintain a clean store and organized work area Support inventory tasks, stock checks, and backroom work Answer phone calls and handle customer questions Handle POS transactions with accuracy Upsell related products during service Work with the team to meet store goals Lift 50 pounds safely
Qualifications

Secondary school completion or equivalent At least 6 months of pet store or animal care experience Grooming skills preferred Strong communication and customer service skills POS and cash handling skills preferred Able to work weekends and holidays Reliable transportation Able to work 7-hour shifts reliably
