Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Pay: Starting at $17.85 per hour (with potential for increases based on experience)

Expected Hours: 20-40 per week

Position Overview

We are looking for a passionate and motivated Animal Care Expert (ACE) to join our team at Bosley's at Esplanade West in North Vancouver!

As an ACE, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service, supporting grooming and delivery services, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Important Requirements

Valid driver's license required - must be able to perform customer deliveries (vehicle will be provided) Previous experience in a pet store or animal care environment is preferred but not required Experience with pet grooming (bathing, nail trimming, etc.) is considered an asset
Key Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in choosing the right pet products and services Provide knowledgeable advice on pet care, nutrition, and grooming products Perform light grooming tasks (nail trims, baths, brushing) using our in-store wash station Handle sales transactions accurately through the POS system Deliver pet products to customers using the company vehicle Maintain a clean, safe, and organized store environment Upsell related products to enhance the customer experience Answer phone calls professionally and handle inquiries Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals Stay informed about pet care trends, product knowledge, and promotions
Qualifications

Completion of Secondary School (or equivalent) Minimum 6 months of customer service or retail experience (pet industry experience preferred) Valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent) Basic grooming experience is an asset (nail trims, bathing, brushing) Strong communication and interpersonal skills POS and cash handling experience preferred Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays Reliable transportation to and from the store Genuine passion for animals and helping pet parents
