Job title: Android developer
Job Location: Toronto, ON - Hybrid
Job type: Contract
As an Android Mobile developer, you will:

• Design, build, and test Android applications using Kotlin, Java, and Android SDK
• Implement user interfaces following material design guidelines and best practices
• Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries
• Debug, optimize, and improve app performance and stability
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Follow agile methodologies and participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprints
• Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in Android development

Skills needed-

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of professional experience in Android development
• Proficient in Kotlin and Java programming languages
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle
• Familiarity with Android Jetpack components, such as LiveData, ViewModel, Room, Navigation, etc.
• Experience with Firebase services, such as Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Analytics, Crashlytics, etc.
• Experience with popular Android libraries, such as Retrofit, Dagger, Coroutines, Glide, etc.
• Understanding of Android architecture patterns, such as MVVM, MVP, MVI, etc.
• Ability to write unit tests and UI tests using JUnit, Mockito, Espresso, etc.
• Knowledge of version control tools, such as Git and GitHub
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for learning new skills and technologies
