Are you a continuous-learner, collaborator, and influencer? As an Analytics Solutions Architect, you will support Enterprise Analytics initiatives by creating conceptual, logical, and physical artifacts incorporating latest technology while adhering to our reference architecture.

In this role, you will collaborate with our data and digital and information technology groups to ensure alignment with their practices and policies while advocating for new technologies and designs where they benefit Analytics and drive value. You will also provide technical (and often hands on) guidance in data and pipeline engineering, data modeling, big data platforms, cloud services, and DevOps.

Minimum Requirements:

10 years of technical experience including business analysis, solution architecture, data architecture, design, business relationship management, agile development and operations

Five years in a Solution Architecture role designing and architecting complex, high-quality full-stack solutions

Experience with coding and scripting languages such as Python, C#, SQL, Terraform, and/or PowerShell

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering or a related technical field

Expert knowledge of data ingestion, data engineering, pipeline engineering, data curation, and data modelling

In depth knowledge of Cloud services and technologies, specifically those related to data, data processing, and machine learning

Responsibilities:

Map business capabilities to technical capabilities, assess gaps and deliver a product roadmap

Implement solution architecture designs with core ITIL processes and the associated best practices

Produce conceptual, logical (and occasionally) physical design documents to match client requirements

Responsible for the technical viability of solutions and governance over solution designs

Location and other Key Details:

You will work out of our Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150 - 6th Ave S.W.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
