I handle two types of recruitment: temporary and permanent in the Greater Montreal area.I am currently searching, on behalf of my client, a company located in Laval for an Accounting Analyst. This is a permanent position on site.Your responsibilities:Prepare and examining financial reports;
Participate in preparation of financial analysis including budget to actual variance analysis;
Participate in automation and optimization;
Improve the rationalization of financial data;
Ensure implementation of recommendations to improve the accuracy of financial information;
Identify areas for improvement;
Support the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial data collection;
Support activities by liaising with the finance team.Think this job is for you? It might be the case if you have:University degree in accounting or finance;
3 to 5 years of accounting experience;
Excellent knowledge of Excel;
Experience in financial process improvement;
Experience with financial system migration;
Strong analytical thinking and superior learning ability; Team player; Detailed oriented, very organized and takes pride in providing complete and accurate information;
Comfortable working as part of a large, complex organization with multiple divisions and locations;
Knowledge and proficiency in accounting and financial systems and software; knowledge of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, Power BI is essential; Power Query, D365, Odoo, Maximo, will be considered an asset;
