Project: The resource will be working on first phase to move manual feeds and automate them GBM DP

Typical Day in Role:
Write microservices that would publish and consume from Kafka
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts
Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
5+ years hands-on experience with latest versions of Java and Spring Boot
3+ years' experience with Kafka Integration (consumer/producer)
3+ years' experience working with Spark
3+ years Working knowledge of SQL (building queries, etc.)
Nice-To-Have Skills:
Capital markets experience is an asset. Preferred Trade Management
Working on execution venues is an asset
Nifi is an asset
Working knowledge of Linux
IBM MQ Experience is an asset
Avro experience is an asset

Candidates should be able to apply experience in all must-have skills, as they are all necessary to build out the platform. The best candidate would be able to work independently with minimum support from the team. This resource will be trusted to complete key project deliverables on their own.
Degrees or certifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required
