Altus Group is currently seeking a candidate in the position of a Real Estate Valuation Analyst on a permanent basis to be based out of our St. John\'s, NL office. The position will join our expanding global advisory group in our Research, Valuation, and Advisory division.

Key Responsibilities:

The Analyst will work within a dynamic team gaining a wide array of experiences in the business of valuation consulting for an international client base. The primary workload will involve working with our team in the valuation of assets for a variety of large portfolio clients.

The Analyst will be responsible for the collection, analysis and organization of real estate data, which is to be used for valuation consulting services. The role will gain exposure to asset underwriting, financial analysis, cash flow modelling, Argus Enterprise, as well as data analytics.

Job Responsibilities:

Completing market analysis and performing research regarding commercial real estate transactions;

Preparing accurate analysis and / or portions of appraisal reports, developing cash flow projections, researching, analyzing and inputting of sale and financial data into company database;

Completing inspections of commercial buildings and properties in partnership with senior staff;

Travel throughout the province of Newfoundland & Labrador may be required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor, preferably in Commerce, Real Estate, Economics, or Finance.

Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license is required and access to a vehicle considered an asset;

Analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail;

Enthusiastic about training and transferring knowledge and expertise to other team members;

Excellent communication skills \xe2\x80\x93 listening, understanding and responding;

Interpersonal skills for building positive relationships both internal and external;

Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects;

Initiative and resourcefulness;
