We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Analyst to join our Super Market Category and Merchandising Team. This entry-level position is primarily responsible for the management and maintenance of our ad match program across our superstore banners, ensuring competitive pricing and driving sales. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid foundation in financial principles, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for data-driven decision-making

Accountabilities:



Ad Match Execution

: Implement and maintain the ad match program across designated superstore banners, ensuring accurate and timely matching of competitor advertisements.

Data Analysis:

Analyze competitor pricing data, sales trends, and promotional activities to identify opportunities for optimization and improvement of the ad match program.

Pricing Recommendations:

Develop and present data-driven pricing recommendations to the Category Director and Merchants, supporting strategic pricing decisions.

Data Integrity:

Ensure the accuracy and integrity of pricing data within our systems, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.

Reporting & Monitoring

: Generate regular reports on ad match performance, tracking key metrics and identifying areas for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Collaborate effectively with other departments, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment on pricing strategies.

Competitive Awareness

: Stay informed about competitor activities and market trends, providing insights to the pricing team.

Process Improvement:

Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the ad match program.

Ad-hoc Analysis

: Perform ad-hoc pricing and sales analysis as required to support business needs.

Role Requirements:



Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Basic understanding of financial principles and retail pricing concepts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including data manipulation, formulas, and reporting). Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present data effectively. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing business needs.
