Based out of the Toronto office and reporting to the Director of Treasury, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Managing bank accounts (opening/closing accounts, maintaining signatories and online banking users, conducting periodic bank user audits)
  • Bank relationship management
  • Providing guidance to hotel teams on payment and banking matters
  • Daily cash management (monitoring balances, ensuring availability of funds for AP, reconciliation)
  • Processing treasury transfers and wire payments
  • Monitoring and controlling bank fees
  • Investing surplus cash
  • Managing intercompany loans
  • Preparing monthly treasury report
  • Ensuring compliance with Group policies
  • Maintaining SOPs and user guides
  • Participating in projects and performing other ad-hoc tasks as may be assigned
Qualifications
  • University degree in Business with Finance or Accounting discipline.
  • At least 5 years working experience in a multinational company (Treasury/Cash Management), consulting firm or bank.
  • Strong computer skills, with extensive knowledge in Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, analytical mindset, collaborative spirit, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Knowledge of treasury management systems (Kyriba in particular) is an asset.
  • Experience working with financial accounting systems (Oracle in particular) would be an asset.
  • Experience in project management would be an asset.
