Our Opportunity:

The Supply Planner is responsible for optimizing the balance of inventory across the supply chain network in line with target customer service levels, levels of forecast accuracy and safety stock levels, for all Tim Hortons SKUs.

The Supply Planner acts as the lead interface to Operations, Purchasing and Sales & Marketing to resolve supply issues relating to those departments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement supply plans to support new product introductions across several product categories
  • Organize master data, raw materials and finished goods production schedule
  • Develop vendor production and Distribution Center inventory parameters dependent on safety stock, transit times, vendor capacity, and ingredient availability
  • Prepare and maintain work-back schedule to maintain key timelines for successful product launch with cross-functional team
  • Plan replenishment across the Distribution Center network by maintaining the accuracy and feasibility of supply plans, working together with Replenishment team
  • Analyze shortage risks and out of stock situations, recommend and execute mitigating actions through vendor production optimization and freight expedites
  • Conduct root cause analysis for supply chain issues/variances and define corrective action plans to avoid reoccurrence
  • Conduct cross-functional communication to support launch of the new products
  • Attend regular forecast review meetings with Sales & Marketing and Demand Planners
  • Identify potential supply gaps and solutions, communicate to Operations and Marketing teams as needed
  • Assist in the development and implementation of process maps and SOPs
  • Meet or exceed KPIs (service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory levels, etc.)
  • Manage ad-hoc Supply Chain improvement projects
Qualifications:
  • BS/BA Required
  • Ideally APICS Qualified (CPIM)
  • 2+ Years experience in manufacturing or plant supply chain
  • Knowledge of CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) environment
  • Demonstrated ability to use SAP systems within a production environment
  • Intermediate/advanced Excel Skills
  • Detail oriented, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Drive for results and growth oriented
