We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated

Finance Associate

to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the sourcing and execution of land, construction, and term financing by gathering property and market data, preparing lender packages, coordinating due diligence, and liaising with internal teams and external consultants.


The ideal candidate will have a

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field

, along with 1-2 years of experience in a real estate or finance role. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, and exceptional organizational abilities are essential.





Key Responsibilities



Gathering property and market information to support sourcing of land, construction, and term financing; Coordinating with internal teams (Development, Construction, Accounting, Sales & Leasing) to gather materials needed for financing; Liaising with external consultants to obtain third-party reports; Assisting in the preparation of lender packages, economic summaries, and rent rolls; Coordinating due diligence items and condition precedent checklists for financing transactions; Providing day-to-day support to the Finance Team; Participating in department initiatives such as system implementations, process improvements, and template development; Assisting in the preparation of presentation materials for quarterly Board meetings; Supporting scenario modelling, project-level proformas, and cash flow forecasting; Conducting ad hoc analysis to support financing and capital planning decisions; Contributing to the development and enhancement of internal reporting tools; Maintaining the Company's loan database using Yardi Debt Manager in collaboration with the Accounting Teams; and Compiling all required documents for lender's loan reviews and assisting with covenant monitoring and audit requests.

What You Bring



Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate or similar discipline; 1 - 2 years' experience working in real estate development and/or finance role; Advanced skills using the Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Excel; Familiarity with Yardi is considered an asset; Highly organized with a strong attention to detail; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure with tight deadlines; Strong work ethic and the ability to perform duties in an accurate, professional and timely manner with an aptitude for problem solving, accountability and demonstrates initiative; Collaborative and the ability to work within a team independently; Maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information; and * Ability to develop strong positive professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
