Our expectations

Reporting to the IT Digital Manager, the primary purpose of this role is to ensure the quality of IT deliveries for the applications supported by the team on omnichannel and digital initiatives.

As a QA Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web applications. You will work closely with our development and product teams to develop and execute comprehensive testing strategies, identify and report defects, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Your role

Develop and implement testing strategies, plans, and test cases for web applications.
Collaborate with product managers, scrum master, developers, and stakeholders to define and clarify requirements and acceptance criteria.
Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing to identify defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using industry-standard tools and technologies.
Execute and analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Provide timely and accurate test status reports, metrics, and recommendations to project stakeholders.
Create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Continuously evaluate and enhance the automation infrastructure and test coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

The qualifications we are looking for

Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
3 years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on web applications.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficiency in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Experience in test automation using industry-standard tools.
Hands-on experience with programming and scripting languages such as Java, or JavaScript.
Good understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web development frameworks.
Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Agile methodologies and toolsets (Atlassian suite, etc.)
Can plan and take control of own workload.
Can work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
Can work as part of a team.
Capacity to teach self about new systems.
