Quality Assurance (QA) Operations - Analyst
Are you passionate about driving operational excellence and ensuring compliance across business processes? We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented QA Operations Analyst to support our organization in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and regulatory alignment.
Here is what a typical day looks like
Identifying areas of process, control and security weakness, develop solutions, and monitor implementation of solutions for effectiveness
Executing operations quality reviews and assessing company operations, process, compliance and other associated risks
Discovering opportunities for improving business processes, based on review outcomes, to minimize risks
Preparing and presenting quality reports of quality review findings and recommendations to senior leaders
Ensuring past quality review recommendations are implemented in current processes
Supporting compliance with government laws and company regulations
Identifying key risk and control indicators for assigned review areas
Detecting operational risks and making recommendations to manage threats
Maintaining documentation for risk assessments and management of processes
Partnering with business teams to evaluate and revise internal controls and operational procedures
Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather data and review quality review findings, discussing identified issues as required
Conducting benchmarking through research, analysis, and by liaising with other business partners to identify business processes
The value you bring
Keen attention to detail
Proven knowledge of Insurance products, either Personal or Commercial lines.
Experience working in EPIC, SIG or AS400 an asset
Excellent communication skills; professional, clear, and confident
A self-starter mindset with a passion for learning
CAIB/CIP an asset
Proven experience working with Microsoft Excel with the ability to execute Pivot tables and v-lookups.
Proven experience developing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
