If so, this would be a great opportunity for you!Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for an Analyst, Middle Office for a 12 month contract in Toronto. This is hybrid role - 3 days on-site and 2 days working from home. There is high chance this contract will extend and convert to a permanent role.
Pay rate: $24.07 - $29.57 / Hour
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and 1 hour for lunch,
10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and 1 hour lunch alternating weekly
Overtime is required, 2 to 4 hours a weekAdvantages

Responsibilities
As an Analyst, Middle Office, your duties will include but not limited:
  • Working with local Toronto Management, the Middle Office Program, and other global Middle Office Operations teams to cover the functions of Trade Management, IBOR Reporting and OTC / Collateral Management.
  • Working closely with the Global Middle Office Operations Lead, and the Global Middle Office Operations Readiness Lead to provide \'local\' information/requirements and assist in complying with a global model that will deliver \'follow-the-sun\'.
  • Covering Middle Office program deliverables within Canada including testing, subject matter expertise input, helping with Internal & External Audit, cross-training, reporting and problem resolution on daily basis
  • Completing the daily and Ad Hoc BAU processes as required whilst the function is being established
  • Supporting the New Business Process, working with potential and existing clients to resolve Middle Office issues
  • Partnering with the business lines to ensure the establishment / amendment and extension of all service level agreements / service level standards.
  • Building relationships with other divisions and domiciles within Company &TS and leverages, where possible, Global Best Practice.
  • Developing & implementing comprehensive operating procedures that ensure the accuracy, timeliness and completeness of all processes.
  • Establishing targets to measure service quality, & effectiveness against appropriate benchmarks.
  • Providing support to Client Service managers on administrative functions and maintenance requests from clients and relationship managers
Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance or Business related discipline
  • 3 plus years financial services industry experience in an operations environment
  • Previous experience on projects
  • Superior communication skills - written and verbal
  • Experience in establishing new processes
  • Risk management and mitigation focus
  • Either previous experience with derivatives and OTCs, or trade processing
