WHAT YOU WILL DO AS AN ANALYST, INVESTMENTS:

• Conduct financial analysis, prepare scenarios and sensitivity analysis to inform decision making and evaluate business decisions.
• Assist with implementing standard monthly and quarterly reporting process and assist with publishing development status reports for all projects.
• Build and maintain project cash flow models.
• Support the annual property budgeting process in conjunction with property management and operating teams.
• Liaise with various stakeholders, including, but not limited to, banks and brokers, to create reports and presentations.
• Assist in various due diligence functions leading up to potential acquisitions.
• Assist in ad-hoc work as required.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• Recent graduate or up to three years of professional work experience (including co-op and/or other internships), and/or an undergraduate degree in business, accounting, commerce, or economics.
• A keen desire to learn and work in the residential real estate industry is required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Strong quantitative and analytical abilities.
• Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (can organize and extract key information from large data sets, confidence in building PowerPoint decks)
• Acute attention to detail.
• Oriented to produce high-quality work product with ownership.
• Strong relationship building, interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and team skills.
• Ability to quickly pivot between a variety of projects, be self-motivated, and a team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, building consensus, communicating effectively, and contributing to a positive, growth-oriented work culture.
